I compared the few sundials available from various garden centers in my area and found this to be comparable to their much higher priced items. I was looking for a greater variety from which to make a choice. I placed this sundial on the ground in my front yard garden bed as intended and it is perfect.

We are using the sun dial in our backyard on the pedestal. Both are good quality and match perfectly. We were pleased with the look, even though my husband thought it was going to be a bit bigger than it was.
