We bought this table from another vendor for a cheaper price. We love this table! It is super heavy, very sturdy, and good-looking. The copper is a little brighter than in the photo, and the slate has a bit more green in it (which is good for us). The slate is close to California Gold slate, so it matches our California Gold slate fireplace. The nail heads are actually just a strip of plastic faux nail heads glued to the copper. I knew this going into my purchase. It isn't a deal breaker, and you really shouldn't expect real nail heads for this price, BUT you can tell they aren't real. The slate is natural, so it isn't perfectly smooth as it appears in the photo. That's o.k. with us (we really like natural materials), but if you expect something more perfect, this might not be the table for you. The assembly took about 5 minutes, and the table is SUPER sturdy. We've only owned it for a week, but I expect it will last a very long time. I love the shelf underneath, and the color of the wood blends with any decor (we have dark wood).
