I managed to put this magazine rack in a narrow space between a counter and a desk. It is shallow enough not to interfere with the traffic around that area. I am using each pocket for different items that I want close at hand, but not cluttering up my dining room table or kitchen counters. I really like this rack! I would buy another if I can find another nook or cranny to stick it in!
