In 1920 Powel Crosley founded the company that pioneered radio

Dismayed with the $130 price tag for the radio receiver he promised
to buy for his son’s birthday, Crosley decided to make his
own. Upon successfully building a working set for only $35, Crosley

Comments:
I purchased for my new townhouse to use as an extension on an antique desk. It looks perfect in red.
I would not recommend it for long calls. The handset design makes it uncomfortable to rest on your shoulder and, in fact, it falls off when I try to cradle between my chin and shoulder. However, it suits my purpose.
