Bought two-the remote sold me on this lamp, however, the remote's
battery compartment is badly engineered. One of the positive battery contacts is recessed too far, thus impeding contact. This was solved by building up the contact. (the problem was in both remotes)
I also did not really like the fact that it was supplied with a plastic shade, but once the lamp is assembled and put in place, it is not noticable.
Other than these issues, the lamp is acceptable, and attractive.
