I bought this Powell cart to use as a small kitchen island, and was quite surprised at how attractive it was after putting it together with my teenager in half an hour. I recommend an extra pair of hands to hold the legs tightly in place while driving the screws in. It is bigger and heavier than it looks, 2" taller than my counters, and wheels smoothly around without damaging my wood floors. The 3" locking wheels fall out of the sockets easily if you lift up the whole cart, but I may want to use it as a lower, permanent workspace without the wheels. The color of the smooth wood is a very dark brown, almost Expresso. The polished granite top is a medium gray. The simple lines of the piece blend well with Mission, Oriental, or Modern decors in an elegant yet unobtrusive way. It is a beautiful piece of furniture!
