With this desk, my hubby and I can work/play side-by-side. It is so much nicer than the big office desk I had before--the eye sore. Because of the decrease in depth, I actually save room space. The desk as pictured does not show the locking doors for the towers, which makes the desk look even neater/tidier. Also, computer wires (my nemesis) are easily hidden. Understandably, it was a little difficult to put together because of all the hardware, but I, a female, actually did most of the assembly. It was probably more time-consuming than it was 'difficult'. A huge plus was that there was not any missing screws or dowels. I would recommend this desk if you don't need drawer space. It is very attractive and my printer and my cat's bed fit right in the center.
