I use this hall tree and bench storage for my husband when he comes in from the farm. It is perfect for him to hang his coat and hat and slip his boots into the storage bench.

My first halltree choice was beautiful, but when I came across the one that was a perfect match to my Mission-style sofa-table in the foyer, I ended up purchasing my second choice!

I plan on using it in our utility room. I like the storage to hide shoes, etc. It is smaller than what I thought, but it is still cute and I think it will serve the purpose.

I got this bench a while back because I needed something to help clean up a corner of the living room that was mostly a mess of coats, hats, and bags. I found this bench, it looked like it fit the bill, so I got it. It was not at all difficult to assemble - I was able to do it entirely by myself in the space of an hour or two. The finished product has stood up to constant use, multiple curious cats, getting shoved around the living room while loaded, and other indignities and is none the worse for wear.

The one and only thing I found difficult about it was attaching the coat hooks. They were a bit tricky and took some fiddling to figure out, but it was still quite do-able.

Overall I am quite pleased with this purchase and would indeed recommend it to a friend.
