I bought 6 of these Bulldog side chairs for the new dining table in my home which is deep in the north woods. I made the table from lumber milled from my own trees (clear vertical grain Douglas Fir and western red alder). The Holsag chairs are a perfect design match for my new table. This dining set will last for many generations - or as long as people still eat together...

We saw these chairs at a coffee shop and tracked them down to the manufacturer. These chairs are the perfect size for a kitchen table -- you can fit several of them around the table and the seat backs are low so they don't cut into the visual space. They're commercial grade and super sturdy, so I know they'll take the use and abuse of long-term kitchen use -- but they're also attractive and fit in perfectly with many different decor styles. The stain color is exactly as pictured in the manufacturer's stain brochure (ordered directly from Holsag's website). The chairs come assembled in a very sturdy box. [...] but overall they are a great chair for the price.
