Visco-Elastic Foam is the revolutionary Open Cell Foam, developed
in 1970 by Charles Yost, aeronautical engineer and president of
Dynamic Systems, Inc.. As part of a research project started in
1969 by NASA, it was aimed at providing better passenger impact
protection and comfort during long commercial airline flights. This
was the driving force behind the development of the unique
cushioning material.. He then began commercial development of the
product and named it TEMPURE FOAM, later selling the manufacturing
rights to Becton Dickinson in 1974. In the late 1990’s the
United States Space Foundation awarded Dynamic Systems, Inc. the
“Space Technology Hall of Fame Award” for the
successful development and commercialization of Temper Foam
technology. Our mattresses are of the highest quality available and
are directly comparable to that of the Tempur-Pedic™* brand
product. So unique are the properties of visco-elastic foam that it
continually adjusts and molds to the contours of your body. As it
reacts to the weight and body temperature of your child, it
significantly minimizes pressure points by providing consistent,
even support thereby reducing tossing and turning, helping to
improving and relaxing sleep.

my son used to have a hard time sleeping, not now! this memory foam kids mattress has him sleeping thru the night with no problems at all. i received and poped open boom he was in love with the color and then he slept like a baby... couldnt ask for more! best money i ever spent on a mattress... now mommy and daddy can sleep thru the night too...

I wanted a mattress my grandson could walk on without it throwing him out of the bed and one that wasn't so high that he would just roll off the bed if you didn't use bed rails This mattress is perfect I purchased this mattress at a mattress store then I found the IVG Stores site when I wanted to get a second cover and from that purchase I have bought a couple covers and another mattress from the IVG Stores and Highly recomend them all the way around
