I bought this desk for my 11 yr old daughters room. It was very easy to put together, and it looks beautiful.The wood is a darker stain than what the picture shows.
The drawers on the hutch catch because they don't have tracks they slide on. That is the only bad thing.
This piece is exceptional for the price!

All in all, this is a great wooden desk; rich in color. Instructions and labeling were great; however had to use larger drill bead to fit in larger screws; a bit frustrating, albeit not a show stopper.
My daughter is enjoying this desk immensely.
