I bought this bed for my three year old. She absolutely loves the bed. She's extremely taken with the little compartments in the headboard where she's storing her favorite small toys, the underbed storage is perfect for her clothes so she can access them herself and she loves using her two step height step to climb up at bedtime.
Normally I'd say this bed is too high for a young child, however, my daughter is extremely tall for her age, so the height of the bed doesn't seem too bad for her.
I would not have chosen this bed had my daughter been moving from her toddler bed for the first time, but she's been sleeping in an opened sided, regular height bed for a few months already, so she was happy to move into this bed.
Overall, the bed is a real feature in the room and I'm confident there will be many years of use due to the high quality of the product.
I imagine every little girl would love this bed - I'd highly recommend this product.
Please note : some of the sections come pre-assembled and are heavy. The construction and moving of the sections is mostly a two person job.

Took my husband 3 hours to assemble, he's of above average ability in this department. Bed is for our 4 year old son. It looks great in the cherry finish. Seems sturdy, the drawers glide nicely. The cubbies are fun for him, he has all his favorite trinkets stored right where he can grab them!
My only complaint is that the back of the headboard is not solid wood, it's a thin piece of MDF or particle board (not sure I know the difference). It matches perfectly but you can see the exposed edge if you look directly at the side of the headboard. Picky complaint though, overall it is a good product. We got the night stand too and like it.

purchased this due to the size was exactly what i was needing cause my daughter bedroom is very small and fit the way i wanted it to. She is 5 years old and i tell her not to jump on it cause i'm not sure how strong the support is. Overall the price was excellent and assembly took about 2 1/2 hours. But so far used it for 2 weeks and so far so good.

my 2 girls (4 and 6) share a small room. my older daughter got a captain's bed 2 yrs ago and the company discontinued the style. this bed matched best. they dont have room for dressers, so the underbed storage is perfect for their little clothes. the drawers slide open and closed easily and they can get the clothes out with ease. so far, the drawers are smooth, but after time, i wonder if they will come off track (as everything is preassembled and underneath). the paint is easy to clean and crisp white. [...] no need for bunkie board. the bed is VERY high with the mattress (11.5 inch) so may need a guard rail for toddler.
